The case of Arthur Frobisher continued to be up most in everybody’s mind in this episode of the season. The court issued a subpoena to Gregory Malina, he must do what he was asked to or must get ready to be punished. Fiske tried to get the subpoena cancelled but failed in doing so and hence suggested to Gregory that he ought to get out of the city. Despite Patty’s efforts to convince Gregory of turning up for his deposition in the court, he flew away from the town. Meanwhile, Tom and Ellen presumed that Patty knew that Tom had offered Ellen a job as Tom was planning to start his own law firm. Patty’s son Michael, whose personality has changed in a prominent manner, was reluctant to come back home from the reform academy and she offered emancipation papers to him.
In the alternate timeline, Ellen tells the police the reasons behind her staying in Patty’s apartment when she was attacked. Later, Tom came to meet her as she was in the jail and Patty had disappeared. Ellen requests her lawyer Hollis Nye, to follow him, as he was the one who would lead them to Patty.
