In this episode of the season, the judge asked Patty to produce an ample reason which could help her to continue with her proceedings against Frobisher. She was given one week’s time to convince the judge to continue the litigation. Soon, Patty received a parcel containing a live hand grenade and the death threat resulted in her bringing in a 24 hour protection. Patty sends Tom to conduct an investigation about Gregory Malina. Meanwhile, another hand grenade located in Patty’s husband’s car, caused him to meet with an accident. Having got stuck up in conveying the information to the judge, Ellen was forced to miss out on her own engagement party. Patty’s son Michael, informed his school counselor about the dream that Patty had, in which she was killed by him. Later, Patty discovered that it was Michael who had been planting the hand grenades and sent him to a reform academy.
In another timeline, we saw Ellen admitting that someone else, not she had murdered David and that she someone had made an attempt on her life.
