In the Season 2 Episode 8, Patty spends a whole lot of time with Uncle Pete, who is recovering from his suicide attempt in the hospital. While there, she remembers about her family problems in the past. She also remembers the important role played by her Uncle Pete in protecting her from her deeply alcoholic and abusive father. The continuous pressure mounted on Patty makes her start to unveil the plans of Walter Kendrick’s energy scheme. On the other hand, the FBI officials plan to continue putting pressure on Pete, to extract information from him, if he revives from his coma. The man Pete hired to kill him makes a surprise visit to see him in the hospital. Arthur Frobisher is haunted by his past deeds when the henchman hired by him, to ransack Ellen and David’s apartment starts blackmailing him. The henchman is worried that if Arthur continues to co-operate with Patty, he will ultimately tell her about the role he played in David’s killing. Later, in a flash forward of three months into the future, Ellen receives an envelope from Pete’s wife, which has her name written on it.
