Damages Episodes : A Pretty Girl In a Leotard

In the Season 2 Episode 6, Patty continues her assault on her enemies and uses the media to wage a war against Ultima and its CEO, Walter Kendrick. She appears on television and accuses Walter and his company of polluting the water bodies with his West Virginia coal mine. She goes a step further and even accuses him of being involved in the murder of Daniel Purcell’s wife. This she does with the motive of bringing down the stock price of the company so that she can file a shareholder lawsuit which is already justified for. But soon she finds herself facing a libel lawsuit for $200 million which is filed by Walter’s lawyer, Claire Maddox. Arthur Frobisher gives some friendly advice to Walter. Meanwhile, Ellen has a breakthrough of sorts in her investigations about the murder of her fiancé David. She gets a lead, when during her meeting with David’s sister, Katie Connor the latter recognizes the uniformed policeman who has been following Ellen. However, when she seeks the help of her contacts at FBI she is surprised by their refusal and this makes her turn to Patty for help.
