Damages Episodes - I Lied, Too
In the Season 2 Episode 1, three months after Patty’s legal victory over billionaire CEO Arthur Frobisher and the Frobisher settlement, Patty is putting all her efforts into the building of her charitable foundation. It as at that time that she is approached by an old friend named Daniel Purcell, who wants Patty to represent him in a case involving corporate fraud and greed. She is unaware that her saying yes for the case will bring on unimaginable personal and professional repercussions for her. Ellen becomes more and more impatient and consumed with rage as she continues to work with the FBI with the intention of destroying Patty and comes across Wes Krulik at a group therapy meeting. Ellen also continues to put up appearances as she hides her rage behind the mask of fabricated grief about the David’s murder. It also turns out that Arthur Frobisher has survived the attempt on his life and is recovering under tight security. Ellen visits Arthur as he is planning to take revenge against everyone whom he believes to have backstabbed him. Meanwhile Patty informs Ellen, about Julia, who was her still born daughter.
In a parallel plotline, Ellen shoots at an unknown person.
