Acting was never new for this American actor. Donovan has been into acting, since his teens. Youngest of seven children, Donovan was born in New York. He attended public high school in Tenafly New Jersey and later he joined the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
On regular basis Donovan has appeared in the series “The O.C.”. Donovan has made guest appearances in some of the famous series like “Friends”, “Trinity”, “The Guardian”, “Mister Sterling” and “Exposed”. He has also given his voice for the character of Hercules, in the animated series of the same name.
Donovan has dated quite a few ladies like actress Whitney Allen and Lauren Graham of Gilmore Girls. He was even engaged to Sandra Bullock and even to Jennifer Aniston. Donovan was married to Corinne Kingsbury, but has divorced her recently.
