This happened, after the news of her eviction went viral online.

Reports have it that the actress would have to leave her Santa Monica home, because of a rental agreement issue.

It all boiled up, when Maria’s landlord sold the property, (which was offered to her on lease of one year, back in August), to somebody else, just when she moved in.

Yikes!

Marcia claimed that injustice is being meted on her, as the new landlord has issued her an eviction notice with immediate effect.

She is now set to take the shelter of law, in order to get a 90-day notice period, before she takes out her belongings from the house.

The award-winning actress might accuse the old landlord of treachery, as he hadn’t informed her about the eviction. Moreover, she revealed that the landlord had already cashed her check for October.

Well, this is ridiculous!

How can someone play such an ugly game with a lady!

I know most of the fans who watched her in the Damages episodes would be upset at the helpless state of the actress.

But, there is a glimmer of hope amidst the dark clouds, as the star has decided to take legal action against the old owner.

It’s not like she wouldn’t be able to find any place to live in California, but it’s a matter of great concern, if people start to sell their properties without informing those who are staying on the same, with valid rental agreements.

I don’t think that the Oscar winning actress had imagined in her wildest dreams that such a disaster would strike her!
